Main Theatre

230 seats maximum in the main auditorium. Good view from all seats.

Rows A and B which are on ground level can be removed e.g. for a small orchestra or thrust. Rows D to M are raked. All seats are numbered.

There is access between stage right and stage left without crossing the stage.

Green room and 4 dressing rooms (each accommodating up to 5 – 6 people) close by backstage. The club room is sometimes available, by arrangement, as an extra dressing room for large cast productions.

Stage

Stage is 3ft above ground level. White cyc wall at rear

Proscenium arch 24 ft wide. 11ft 6in high. Stage depth 22 ft.

Full height fly tower. 6 counterweight lines plus front tabs, 13 hand lines, three winched lighting bars.

Studio

78 seat maximum, flexible seating and acting areas. Good view from all seats.

One of the blocks of raked seats is usually used. Other seating is configured to suit the chosen acting area. Seats are not numbered.

Black drapes on three walls.

Three/four entrances for actors, near each corner.

There is an adjacent room for use as a dressing room or meeting room. Screens can be used to partition this room.

Basic stage managers desk. Techpro communication.

Normally separate control rooms for sound and lighting.
